Thanks to everyone involved with Pie Fest 2014. With your help we raised over $4,000 for the Thurston County Food Bank and Senior Nutrition Program. Way to go Olympia!

Here's a list of winners from the Pie Baking Contest
Grand Prize: Gail Wish, apple Asian pear chutney pie.

Winners in the youth category (ages 12 and under)
Genevieve Kramer, first place, apple-raspberry-blueberry pie
Loren Hamilton, second place, awesome apple perfect pie
Raven Rader, third place, gluten- and dairy-free apple pie

Winners in the teen category (ages 13-18)
Kiarra Wiley, first place, apple cinnamon roll pie
Kenady Wintrip, second place, razzle-dazzle pie
Forrest Dudley, third place, oatmeal coconut pie

Winners in the adult category
Robert Cox, first place, pear mint pie
Anna Aylward, second place, “good fruit” pie
Cathy Velez, third place, blueberry-blackberry-raspberry pie

Rhys Karr, won the “weirdest pie” category was with a strawberry lemonade pie in which the sugar was substituted with lemonade drink mix.

Saturday ~ February 22
The Olympia Bakers Guild invites you to our annual festival of pie to support the Thurston County Food Bank and Senior Nutrition Program.
  • Saturday, February 22 at the Olympia Center from 1 – 4 pm
  • Come down and Eat Pie ($3 or 3 cans of food) / Buy Pie in the live auction / Win prizes in the raffle
  • Compete in the contest for amateur and novice bakers –  three age categories: up to 12 years of age, 13-18 years of age and 19 and over.
  • Fabulous prizes for winning pies donated by local businesses!
